U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte released the following statement regarding the nomination of Manchester Assistant Police Chief Nick Willard to serve as the next Chief of the Manchester Police Department.

"Nick Willard is a man of integrity and strong character, a dedicated public servant and leader, and a close friend. He's one of the best investigators I've ever worked with, and I can't think of a better choice to lead the Manchester Police Department. Nick will make an outstanding Chief, and I commend Mayor Gatsas for selecting him."
